There are different boards of directors for the related Booster companies.
The Booster Investment Management Limited Board (BIML) is a Managed Investment Scheme licensee. BIML is responsible for investment management and other related activities.
John brings a wealth of experience from his 37-year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he spent 25 years as a partner in advisory and assurance.
John has experience across a range of industries, including financial services.
In recent years John has taken on governance roles across various industries. These include chairing the Board of Directors of Booster Assurance Limited since 2012 and Booster Investment Management Limited since May 2016.
Bruce was appointed Executive Director for Booster in June 2019.
His focus will be as Relationship Manager for Booster’s wholesale offering. Previously an independent Director of Booster and the Chair of Booster’s Audit Risk and Compliance Committee, Bruce has in-depth knowledge of the business and investment focus.
Bruce has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector, including asset management, corporate governance, business relationship management and risk management for organisations such as global fund manager BlackRock, Premia Partners, State Street Global Advisers, National Australia Bank and Bank of New Zealand.
Paul is a senior corporate / commercial lawyer based in Wellington, where he is a partner in Minter Ellison Rudd Watts.
He has over 25 years’ experience working with companies in the financial services, manufacturing and energy fields. He is a past director of NZX- and ASX-listed companies and a Chartered Fellow of the NZ Institute of Directors.
Paul has been involved with Booster since the start in 1998.
Allan originally formed the Grosvenor Financial Services Group – now called Booster Financial Services – back in 1998.
Before then, he held senior banking roles with Barclays Bank PLC in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Brendon joined Booster in February 2017 as a director of Booster Investment Management Limited (BIML). At the same time, he took on the joint leadership of the Booster Tahi Limited Partnership, through which Booster invests in unlisted private companies.
Brendon has 17 years of experience in financial markets with banks and the New Zealand government. This includes being the Global Head of Capital Markets at Westpac in Sydney between 2005 and 2011, and, more recently, Deputy Secretary Financial and Commercial Operations at the NZ Treasury.
